Rye Harbor State Park affords scenic views of the Atlantic Ocean and Rye Harbor, also called Ragged Neck. Favorite activities enjoyed in the park include saltwater fishing and picnicking with ocean breezes. Amenities offered picnic tables and restrooms. The Seacoast Region headquarters office of N.H. State Parks is also located within the park.

The park is open from late May through mid-October. Admission is $3 for adults; $1 for children ages 6-11; children ages 5 and under and NH residents age 65 and over are admitted free.
Boating
In this location in New Hampshire, visitors have access to a variety of boating options. The park features an extensive boat launch facility that can accommodate both small and large vessels. It is also home to commercial deep-sea fishing charters for those interested in offshore angling adventures. Whale-watching tours are another popular activity available from the harbor, providing opportunities for close encounters with marine life while on board comfortable sightseeing boats.
Fishing
Enjoy fishing for striped bass, bluefish and flounder from the rocky shoreline or charter a deep-sea trip. For freshwater species like trout, nearby rivers are ideal. The harbor also offers opportunities to catch lobsters if you have the necessary permits.
