June 9 A beautiful walk & bikes allowed too by GordonS
park review stars; one to five The main purpose of this area is protection of wildlife & watershed for the water needs of San francisco and San Mateo counties. The San Andreas trail & connecting Crystal Spring trails run through it. (10+ miles long). Bikes allowed on both trails. Beautiful Picnic areas & a few geology lessons too. Wildlife abounds as well.
October 11 Try and see by Dave R
park review stars; one to five Unlike many NORCAL national forests, this entire area is hard to enjoy for even the light footed hiker, much less mountain biker, and much is to waste $$$. Lived in the area 20 years. Just sad in comparison to the frugal use of funds and excellent management of national forests/parks.
