DART ISLAND STATE PARK
Dart Island State Park is a small, undeveloped island park located on the Connecticut River. It's accessible only by boat and offers opportunities for fishing, bird watching and boating amidst its natural beauty. The 12-acre area remains largely untouched with no facilities or amenities available onsite; it truly provides an escape into nature's tranquility.
Connecticut has made state parks, forests, trails, historic sites and beaches more accessible to our residents so they can enjoy the many attractions and beauty they offer. Under the Passport to the Parks program, parking fees are now eliminated at Connecticut State Parks for those with Connecticut registered vehicles. You can view the
