we camped here 9/18/12 and the campsite was wonderful. Bathrooms were completely tiled and spotless. Shower nice and hot. Highly recommend

August 12 History made fun by Wendy Rogers

Fort Boonesboro is an excellent way to spend the day. The fort itself is very interesting, even to my 9 year old son. The people are wonderful at explaining what they are doing and why. After walking through the fort, on a hot summer day, the pool is an excellent way to cool off. Great water slide for the kiddos (and adults too!). The campground in nice. We love this park!

May 3 a step back into time by anolan

We arrived on 4-19-08, not knowing really what to expect when we walked onto the fort. We were amazed by how simple and yet functioning the fort was. Daniel Boone and his followers really paved the way for all of us. We are very lucky for the life we live, and going there reminded us all, just what it was like back in 1775. it is a great historical spot for anyone and everyone. The staff there are great, they do it just like Daniel Boone and his family did it. You will have a great time!!!!!
