I have stayed at Kathio for many years and find the park and the staff to be exceptional. I go at the not busy times and find it very quiet and peaceful. The stars at night are amazing.The staff go out of there way to make your stay great.

October 19 Great place to snowshoe. by SM of Troop 19 of Milaca

Our Boy Scout unit had a great time learning about how to snow shoe with Ranger Jim. Then we were able to test our knowledge and use the camps snowshoes to due some treking. Thank you Kathio

August 16 Strange Ranger by Not Camping at Kathio Ever Again

I would just like to let people know if they go here you might run into a strange park ranger. He made strange comments to my sons and had ridiculous rules. We will never stay at this park again. We were told we were laughing to loud and could be asked to leave at anytime.

March 4 My dad almost drowned there... by Zachrey

My dad fell over the spillover dam and was caught in the deadly current. My friend and I miraculously pulled him out from the upstream side (I fell over the dam also but my friend caught me by the heel as I was going over and pulled me back to safety). This was many years ago and I hope safety measures were implemented in the meantime.
