many thanks to john the park manager, he checked on us often . he realized that we are older and have medical problems but still need a nice vacation. he made that possible, gave us great directions and filled in all the gaps in questions we had. thanks so much , we plan to come again

I WENT TO THE PRIMATIVE SHELTER #2 OVER LOOKING THE TENN RIVER. I SPENT THE NIGHT. IT WAS GREAT SCREENED IN WITH WOODSTOVE AND PADDED BUNK BEDS W/PICNIC TABLE. HIKE IN HIKE OUT W/UR OWN SUPPLIES IT WAS A GREAT CHALLENGE AND FREE.

to ride through the park and see several deer makes our day. the park manager is a great guy. i love to fish the banks too.

Everytime we come to Tennessee to visit my father-we always make a trip to Mousetail. We love the swinning, the trails....its just a nice getaway from th e city life!!
