September 7 Outstanding Visit by Archie and Chris Bennett - Tn
Have visited many state parks throughout this great land and this has to be one of the best as far as accessability, cleanliness and beauty. The views from the summit parking lot and overlooks were spectacular. The park hosts were nice. Please continue to do the things you do to make this a wonderful place to visit.
June 25 The Makings for a Good Ride
My thanks to the park for having the gates open for horse trailers early this morning for early starts on hot days, and also for having toilet paper in the restroom facility.
February 23 a beautiful place by paul j collins
i lived on the mountain in my childhood my father was the caretaker there when it was privately owned i have lots of good memories of it our house was near the ranger station and my dad had a small block bldg to sell picnic items we raised tobacco there
October 31 Great park by HappyCamper
The angry poster sounds like a typical horse person. They take this park for granted. The trails look great despite the four footed trail poopers.
September 17 Great trip!! by A. D. Register
We arrived last Oct and just before the gate was being locked for the night. Two female rangers were there and were very helpful and informative. Our visit was super!! Be back next month again.
August 22 Awsome time Awsome place by Awsome Guy
It was awsome!! The site was great! Trail what is the word?... AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
July 14 nice place for a day trip
i stopped there for a break while traveling and ended up staying longer than planned due to the beauty. what a great place! i plan on going back to spend more time there.
June 18 Underappreciated Park
This park is amazing all year round! The only downside seems to be how many locals take it for granted. Rangers are professional and most helpful.
April 14 Park rangers oversleeping
We trailered our horses to the Hauser Rd. parking area on 4/13/08 to ride and had to wait 2 hrs until someone came to unlock the gate so we could park and unload our horses. I guess the park ranger overslept that day.
