June 4 The Best of RVing by MaliasMiles
I just spent almost a week here and love it! Reasonable rates for full hookups, spacious sites, a beautiful lake, some sites right on the water, peaceful sounds all around, good internet connectivity and good enough DirecTV reception (I still like to watch my TV at night). :) I posted several pics and more info on my RVing blog at http://www.maliasmiles.com/blog/roosevelt-state-park/

February 16 Great Family Fun by Kristi
For the past three years, we have lodged at Roosevelt State Park in a cabin while fishing at Ross Barnett in Jackson. The park is a fantastic getaway that has all the feelings of home. We enjoyed every part of the stay. We would definately recommend Roosevelt to anyone in the area! Thanks for all the good times!
July 16 Our favorite anniversary getaway always by Kenneth and Edna Daniels
Last year my husband and I really enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to book another stay this year. The fishing was great, the room was clean and peaceful. We will try and visit every year now that we know this is such a great place.

March 17 Our second home
We have been going to Roosevelt for years and love it. Its about 30 mins from our home and love the fact that the park is family oriented, we have never had a problem with things being taken or partying people. We are planning on camping there for spring break. We hope to retire at the campground when that time comes. We have experienced the motel the cabins primative, and now Rv camping there. Love it!!! Keep up the good work.
August 2 Very beautiful and scenic by Roy Hill and family
We went camping in the newer camp ground,it was a wonderful experience, except there were no litter barrels or dumpsters to be found, we looked all over the park and finally located one. I personally think that a lack of litter barrels, encourage people to litter.
June 13 Tent campers beware. by Keith
If you make your reservation online with ReserveAmerica.com the information is incorrect. Their site states each camp site has a tent pad. This is almost 100% wrong. There are some places you could put a tent but you better go find them before you book. Someone may advise you to set up your tent on the concrete pad. There are two problems with this.
1. The pads are not level for a tent. You will need to put bricks under your cot legs.
2. It takes a real man to drive those tent pegs into the concrete.
June 2 Good but could be Great by Robert H Brown
My family and I spend weeks at Roosevelt every year. The staff is very friendly and the park is beautifull. If they would just update the bathrooms, beach area and build a few piers for boats/fishing this would be the best park in the state. The old deer habitat would be a perfect place for a play area for campers instead of having to drive over to the opposite side of the lake.
May 12 Went and will be back by Paula Smith
We went to Roosevelt last July. WE had such fun! WE stayed four nights and wished we could stay longer. WE fished, fed the dicks and crazy geese, met our neighbors, and RELAXED. The cabin was great. We want a bigger one next time!
April 15 One of our favorite parks by T. R.W.
we enjoy camping.. the camp sites are great, very shaded and mostly privet. The kids enjoy the swimming pool and slide. And the Hubby loves the fishing. We love the cool afternoons and early mornings. Could not think of anything that could be changed.

December 11 Christmas Home by Bryson Haden
My family and I spend a week every Christmas at Roosevelt.
We have always enjoyed not only the park but the staff. We have become quite familiar with the park and what it offers. It is kept up very well and
it has one of the most challenging disc golf courses around. Keep up the good work see you in about three weeks.
June 19 Great Time by J Lee, Friends, and Family
We had a wonderful experience in both the cabins and primitive camping areas in January of 2008. The cabins were fine, all appliances were in good working order and the place was very clean. Cabins are not ment to be 5 star accomidations, but a hotel is also available if you need something less rustic. All the staff and rangers were very kind and helpful. Jackson is a short drive (20 mins) and you can eat dinner, see a movie, or visit Bass Pro. We loved it and plan to go back next winter.

April 18 Worst cabins
I took pictures last year inside our cabin. It is a shame that the cabins have run down so bad and are not fixed. There are holes in ceilings, floors need to be fixed, and a host of other problems. My family comes every year and every year the cabins are worse. When are you going to fix them?
