Park Visitor: Comments, Memories and Reviews
June 11 Peaceful by JD
We go here every year, my children love that the playground is right next to our campsite. We do to as we can see them the whole time we are at camp. It is nice to know right where they are. We always stay at site 178. The only thing I do not care so much for is the bathrooms and the bird poo on the beach. Other than that we love to go out onto the old rickety dock and fish. Sit and watch our children play in the water. And truly enjoy our family time together. Last year was the first time I had seen trash in our pit, but we ask someone to come clean it out and they did. It is the people sometimes who stay there that are not taking care of the property and after awhile I am sure there is just so much the park staff can do to get it all done.
February 27 memories
I have been coming to whitewater state park for over 25 years. I first came with my mammaw and papaw with the camper. I played one the beach and still have the photograph. I fished there with my now deceased dad. I have gone to reunions, birthdays, and concerts. Today I still hike the trails and enjoy the local wildlife.

October 16 One of the best state parks by Bud
We have camped at several state parks and Whitewater is one of the best. It is very well maintained and the staff is very friendly. They make you want to come back. Whitewater is our favorite state park in the area. They also have several playgrounds for the kids.
May 10 great place for kids by paul cotton
best blue gill fishing in state
December 19 midnight bandits
The park was very nice, but as soon as it started to get dark we had trouble with raccoons coming into our campsite looking for food, which we had already locked in the trunk of our car. Also someone over a couple of sites fired a gun during the night, my guess is that they were having trouble with raccoons too. We packed up and left as soon as it was light
September 5 Great memories fishn w my dad by Richard C.
We would rent a small boat & bring our trolling motor & some minnows & fish for hours for crappie & bass. The whole place is so clean, beautiful & best priced park around :)
June 30 good BUT by Not pleased
We really enjoy the park, but our site was very wet and muddy covered with straw and should have NEVER been rented out for anyone to stay on. We also have same site reserved for the next week and they will NOT allow us to to switch to another spot even though the spot is available.. SO DO NOT reserve site 9
January 21 The Best Place Ever!! by B Gadd

December 30 A Great Place To Trail Ride by Westernbabe
This park has 8 miles of well maintained bridle trails. There are two nice size creeks to cross and several small streams. The hills & wide trails along with excellent scenery makes for a relaxing and enjoyable time. They have horse rental, horse camping and a day parking area. There is water for the horses, restrooms at day camp, horse camp and next to the horse rental barn. There are also a couple of picnic tables along the ride to stop, relax, enjoy the day or catch a bite to eat. This is one of our favorite places to ride anytime of the year. Thanks to everyone at Whitewater State Park for doing such a great job on these trails!
