WHITTEMORE GLEN STATE PARK
Whittemore Glen State Park is a haven for nature lovers. The park spans over 242 acres of forested land and offers hiking trails with stunning views. It's known for its diverse flora and fauna as well as the scenic Naugatuck River Valley that it overlooks. This state-managed public recreation area provides visitors an opportunity to engage in activities like bird watching, picnicking or simply enjoying the tranquility away from city life.
Connecticut has made state parks, forests, trails, historic sites and beaches more accessible to our residents so they can enjoy the many attractions and beauty they offer.
