Port Crescent State Park is located at the tip of Michigan's "thumb" along three miles of sandy shoreline of Lake Huron's Saginaw Bay. Some of the modern campsites offer a waterfront view, either of the Bay or the Old Pinnebog River channel. A 900-foot boardwalk and five picnic decks offer scenic vistas from the top of sand dunes in the day-use area.
Passes
The Recreation Passport is required for vehicle entry into state parks and recreation areas, state boat launches, state forest campgrounds and state trail parking lots. park review stars; one to five My family has been traveling to this camp ground for the past 16 years, staying the last week in July. This is something both us kids and my parents look forward to all year long. Quality family time, a beautiful beach and clean water, nice bathroom facilities, friendly staff and nice sites. Also a cute down town with shops and restaurants if you dont want to cook for a night. I hope to make this a family tradition with my own family some day, :)

park review stars; one to five I have been camping in this park for 28 Years I love PORT crescent state Park my children are all grown but I return myself every Year. The thumb is a GREAT place to vacation. You will not be disappointed in this park. The beach sites are awesome and the lake is always gorgeous at anytime of day. I truly have some great memories here next trip their I hope to have grand kids the story lives on.
