Potholes - The campground loop we stayed in had deep potholes every few feet and the sites were small even for my 23 Ft. camper.

Love to bring my daughter there. - So I was born and raised in Bay City and I have gone to the State Park dozens of times. I am no longer a resident in Bay City i currently moved out to Vassar. But evertime I come int o Bay City I love to bring my daughter to the State Park to play on the wooden play ground as well as the splash area for the childre. I wish I could take my daughter to the beach and let her swim. I dont ever recall going in the water even when i was a little girl. I think the water should be cleaned up as well as the beach. There should be more activities for people to do maybe like a basketball court, volleyball court, maybe a pavilion out on the beach along with like a building for bathrooms and a concession stand for people who want to buy lunch or a snack. That would bring in great money for the State Park. You should also add a pool or like a mini water park in the open space you guys have near the wooden play area that also would bring in money. I feel like the state park needs some TLC dont get me wrong the park is beautiful but some more things for people to do would be awesome. Even putting like a ice rink outside some where so in the winter time you could rent out ice skates or people could bring there own and enjoy a winter day with some hot chocolate. Or maybe even some horse back riding would be pretty cool as well. We need something a change would be nice. I love our State Park and I believe there could be life brought back.

Family Tradition! - My family has been traveling to this camp ground for the past 16 years, staying the last week in July. This is something both us kids and my parents look forward to all year long. Quality family time, a beautiful beach and clean water, nice bathroom facilities, friendly staff and nice sites. Also a cute down town with shops and restaurants if you dont want to cook for a night. I hope to make this a family tradition with my own family some day, :)
