Carson creek - Absolute Heaven. I like to think of it as Crystal Park. Me and my husband look forward to visiting at least one time per year. Thanks. Hope to retire here.

- I started visiting Robbers cave state park in 1961 when my family moved to the area. In 1980 I returned to the pines with my children and we came every summer for many years. At that time the Sutmillers , friends of my parents, were employed by the state park system. It was a magical time. All these years later I want to come back. Are any of the original cabins still available to rent Thank you for your help.

Roadside camping - We camped by the road in primitive camping. I think this is the only camping they have. There was a memorial marker there. It is beautiful. We would have camped at another site but it was almost flooding and we wanted to get out quick if it started raining. It was $4 a night. There is road noise until about 11 p.m. then it quiets down until about 530 a.m. We were the only ones by the roadside. There is a primitive bathroom, it was clean and had toilet paper when we were there. I would camp there again. Park personnel were very nice. A deputy checked on us, We are elders so I thought that was nice.

I love Beavers Bend - We have been coming to Beavers Bend State Park for years. We loved it the first time we went and have ever since. The cabins are great, the people are wonderful and helpful. Love the Eagles and other wildlife. Great place to relax or be active.

We had a great experience at Greenleaf - The camp host was extra helpful. I had a flat on Sunday morning and he was very kind to help get it fixed and I was back on the road in a short time.

Not as expected - When you are told that you have a fire ring at the cabins, that also should mean you have a gratePeople also go to cook on the fire pit Also, both front and back doors did not work, which means we spent alot of time when we had to knock on the door to get someones attention every single time that we needed to get inside or we had to walk around and try with the key for a while just to get inside Windows in living room are filthy

Great for Philmont training - Took our Philmont crew here for a shakedown. The terrain is similar to what they will exerience at Philmont. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful.

Misrepresented accomodations over phone - I called about renting a Yurt. I was told it did not have running water, but was right next to a bathroom shower building and she made it sound like other people would be around and sharing the area. When I arrived after hours, it was isolated and the closest bathroom was down the road and around a curve that would have taken me over 5 minutes to walk to. The bathroom/shower was a rock building with no windows and a lot of cobwebs and it smelled. I am an older person who has to go to the restroom in the middle of the night and could not see myself having to go so far, especially for that kind of accommodations. I know it would work for some people, but not for me. I left and am asking for my money back. I will say it was a beautiful natural setting.

Beautiful Park BUT - The park area is beautiful, very well kept, mowed and clean BUT the restrooms are horrible! I wonder if they have been cleaned in years! Please take some time and use a power washer and clean them! They are disgusting!

Diverse interest area - Recent visit to Keystone. Plenty of wooded tent camping, nice trails, roads suitable for jogging, clean showers, camp store, great lake views, Fun ATV area under dam. Good fishing.
