October 1 Back Country Horse Riding at Its BEST by Lynn
park review stars; one to five I have been riding the horse trails in Uwharrie for 17 years. Yes, they are challenging, but that is the backwoods experience that most horseback Trail Riders are craving, not the manicured trails like at other parks and forests. Always something new to see every time I camp. Canebrake Horse Camp is a very nice facility. Have noticed some nice upgrades in the last year or two. Found that there is now a chapter of Back Country Horsemen in the forest helping to maintain the campground and the trails. WAY TO GO!
February 14 best ever by larry of clinton
park review stars; one to five everytime we go we find something new to do. Fishing off pier, camping in woods, hiking, now for some gold panning next trip. then the atvs. peaceful untouched forest, GREAT place to go.
